How we are structured
Grundfos Holding A/S
Grundfos Holding A/S, based in Bjerringbro, Denmark, is the parent company of the Grundfos Group. The Grundfos Group is represented by more than 100 companies in more than 60 countries. In addition, our products are sold in a large number of countries through local distributors.

Grundfos Group functions
Headquartered in Bjerringbro, Denmark, Grundfos Holding A/S activities include the majority of Grundfos’ global R&D functions, as well as three Group functions involving coordination, planning and management, under the leadership of Group Management executives.

The Grundfos Foundation
Grundfos is owned by the Grundfos Foundation (Poul Due Jensen Foundation), the employees and the founder’s family. The Foundation is the primary owner with 87.5% of the share capital. Employees own 2.9%, with the remaining 9.6% belonging to the founder’s family.
The main purpose of the Foundation is to ensure and support healthy economic growth and development of the Grundfos Group. The Poul Due Jensen Foundation also engages in philanthropic work through funding of safe water projects in developing countries, social responsibility and inclusion projects in Denmark and support for education and research within the company’s areas of interest.
