Check out the main steps below for a general understanding of how our recruitment process works. Please keep in mind there’ll be local variations depending on the country and the type of job you’re applying for. We look forward to welcoming you!
Application and CV
Our job advertisements should provide you with a good insight into the specific job, as well as the competencies and experience we’re looking for. All our open positions can be found at www.grundfos.com/jobs. When you apply, please include a CV and a cover letter, along with any other relevant supporting documents.
The screening process
First, we’ll evaluate your CV and cover letter, looking at your career to date, education, extracurricular activities, accomplishments, results and more. We need to see whether the job matches your personal and professional qualifications, and we’ll also look to get a sense of you as a person before selecting the candidates who’ll progress to the personal interview. All applications we receive are handled with respect and in strict confidence.
If you are not invited to a personal interview, we will let you know by email.
Expectations during an interview
Our aim for the interview is to find the right candidate with the right competencies to the right job. If you’re invited for an interview, it’s a good idea to be well prepared. During the interview, we’d like to get to know each other: we’ll want to hear about you, your previous experience, your motivation and your expectations for the new role. We expect our discussion to be open and trusting, as we base our decision on this dialogue.
To help you decide if the job matches your expectations, we’ll of course provide you with insight into the framework and opportunities in the job, as well as the team and department you’ll be a part of.
For some positions, you may be asked to complete online assessments or prepare a case. You will always receive information about this before the interview. Depending on the specific job and location, you may expect more than one interview during the recruitment process.
References
If you have been chosen for the job, we often collect references from previous employments to learn more about your results and collaboration. This is one of the last steps in the recruitment process, and only takes place with your agreement. We don’t contact references before obtaining your consent, and will only contact current employers or background check if you are offered the job.
The next step
If we offer you the job, either your new manager or a recruiter will contact you to present your job offer as well as the terms and conditions. Most often, we will have touched upon the terms earlier in the process. Soon after that, we’ll send you the contract.
After the contract is signed, you’ll receive a link to ‘Hello’, our online pre-boarding platform to get yourself familiarised with Grundfos before your first day at work.
If you have attended an interview, but will not be offered the job, you will be contacted by the recruiter directly.
