Hamed joined Grundfos and the Group Management team in 2024 on his appointment as Group Executive Vice President and CEO of the Water Utility division.
Hamed brings over 20 years’ experience from the utilities industry gained at international companies such as Alstom, General Electric Company and most recently as President of the Smart Energy & Thermal Solutions business at Honeywell.
Hamed’s career began at PARSIAN HV Substations Development Co. in Tehran (2001-2008), followed by two years as a regional commercial manager (Near & Middle East) at AREVA T&D, continuing at Alstom Grid for five years in a managerial career that took him to Philadelphia, USA.
Hamed led regional businesses of GE (General Electric Company) Grid Solutions (2015-19) and Renewable Energy (2019-21) before joining Honeywell in Houston, USA in 2021.
