CR pumps in large green airport
28-Feb-2006
Minimum emission and high performance are environmental ideals of the airport’s energy centre, which has therefore been equipped with Grundfos pumps. The energy centre controls the temperature in the airport buildings with steam and cold and hot water, and its natural gas based combined heat and power plant supplies electricity to the buildings.
The airport is one of many examples that district heating and cooling is becoming increasingly popular in Japan. And Grundfos’ extensive experience in the field contributes to the fact that the plants often choose to install CR pumps.
