Clean water is not commonplace

Water supply is vulnerable to climate changes. Old installations are requiring replacement. Growing population numbers require expansions of the supply network. Toughened standards of water quality increases the demand for state-of-the-art water treatment.

These are some of the challenges facing the water sector. Grundfos is presenting answers to them in Amsterdam these days at Aquatech, the only international fair for the water sector, gathering specialists from most of the world. 1,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries participate and some 25,000 visitors from more than 50 countries are expected.

Grundfos stands out
Marketing Coordinator, Marie Svensmark Hulgård explains that Grundfos regards the fair as a fine opportunity to meet present and potential customers from the water sector and the industry.

- We use the fair for presenting state-of-the-art solutions and innovative technologies standing our and making a difference for customers and the environment. We focus on competence and products with special performance within domestic water and waste water as well as process water for the industry, says Ms Hulgård.

By means of a newly developed App Grundfos, for the first time, uses the iPad’s possibilities at a fair. This means that visitors can not only see the products displayed but also additional text, illustration and videos offering examples of tasks solved by the products and other issues.
