We are more than just a water pump company. Through our solutions and services, we touch millions of people every day without most even noticing. And with that comes great responsibility. A responsibility to respect, protect and advance the flow of water for people, businesses and the planet. That’s why we support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 6 – clean water and sanitation, and Goal 13 – climate action. Because, together, we can make these goals possible.

Together, we can unlock infinite possibilities

Only through the power of collaboration can we achieve our greatest goals and even the smallest of efforts can have a monumental effect.

We can waste less water waiting for hot water.
We can reuse our water for multiple purposes.
We can switch to energy-efficient pumps.
We can use more solar-powered devices.

Let’s make it possible together.

Changing lives in the Horn of Africa

Across the Horn of Africa, more than 22 million people are suffering from famine due to intense drought. As a consequence, they are extremely sensitive to diseases and infections.

At the Women’s EHF EURO 2022, Grundfos will make a difference, awarding a Player of the Match after each of the 47 matches with donations to help provide water and sanitation for affected families in the area.

Grundfos supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

Focusing on ensuring clean water for all and combating climate change, Goal 6 and Goal 13 highlight the importance of water to human life.

Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation

Goal 6 focuses on providing universal access to clean water and sanitation, which around 771 million people currently do not have. This not only has a negative impact on their food safety and hygiene, it also affects job and education opportunities.

Goal 13: Climate action

Goal 13 focuses on stopping climate change and mitigating its harmful effects. It's inevitable that climate change will cause water levels to rise and create extreme weather conditions if this important issue is not addressed immediately.

Pumps raise the bar of what is possible

When the Women’s EHF Euro 2022 throws off in November, four venues across three countries will host a total of 47 matches. Pumps play a crucial role in major sports venues. At the Men’s EHF EURO 2022, Grundfos pumps moved water, heat, cooling and wastewater around the 20,000 capacity MVM Dome in Budapest, making it possible for the players to perform at the highest level and for the fans to enjoy world-class entertainment.
