Changes to the Board of Directors of Grundfos Holding

Grundfos is pleased to announce a new addition to the Board of Directors of Grundfos. At the annual general meeting on 28 April, Claus Aagaard, Chief Financial Officer, Mars Inc., was elected to the Grundfos Holding Board of Directors.

“We are very happy to welcome Claus Aagaard as a member of our Board of Directors. Besides being an outstanding CFO and a highly appreciated business and people leader, Claus also has extensive experience with M&A. I know that Claus will add a lot of value to Grundfos – and I truly look forward to working with him – and learning from him,” says Group Chairman of Grundfos Holding, Jens Moberg.

The recent and very sad passing of Jens Maaløe was mentioned by Jens Moberg in his opening of the annual general meeting.

“It was with a heavy heart that we learned about the passing of Jens Maaløe. Jens was a highly respected chairman of the Poul Due Jensen foundation board and a very valuable member of The Grundfos Holding board. Jens was a wonderful person and an outstanding leader. Jens will be missed! Our thoughts go to his family.” says Jens Moberg.

At the annual general meeting it was also announced that Cindy Groenke is stepping down as member of the Board of Directors. Cindy has recently moved to a new executive position working out of India and has decided to focus her energy and time on this role.

“I would like to extend my thanks to Cindy Groenke for her contributions to Grundfos. I wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” says Jens Moberg

The process of finding a suitable profile for a possible sixth member of the board is in progress.
