FAQ

Question: How does the MQ behave in the event of dry running?

Answer:

The dry running alarm is triggered if the motor is running and the flow rate is less than 0.07 m³/h and the pressure is lower than the pressure set on the pressure switch. If this condition lasts for a minute, the alarm is triggered and the motor is switched off. After that, the MQ attempts a restart every 30 minutes. If there is still a lack of water after 24 hours, meaning that all the restart attempts have failed, the pump will need to be restarted manually. Even under alarm conditions, the pump can always be manually restarted by pressing the ON/OFF switch.
