The Solution

Grundfos proposed a highly efficient solution with a single pump of CRN 255 with 45 kW motor delivering a hydraulic duty of 300 m3/hr at 33 meters head, absorbing 36.2 kW.

Due to space constraints, customer preferred a vertical inline pump with highest possible efficiency. Grundfos solution was perfectly meeting requirement of both space and efficiency demands.

Next in line offer from the competitor was with 2 pumps for the same hydraulic duty absorbing around 56 kW against 36.2 kW of Grundfos solution. Highlighting how efficient our solutions could be.

By choosing Grundfos solution, the rehabilitation complex not only benefits from a significant reduction in energy consumption but also with reduced CAPEX, as a single pump offered consumes minimum space and reduced accessories such as pipes and valves. Further an OPEX reduction in terms of energy consumption was 19.82 kW less than our competitors.

The Outcome

As a direct result of implementing Grundfos' advanced single-pump solution, the rehabilitation complex achieved a remarkable 40% reduction in energy consumption, underscoring the effectiveness of this tailored approach. The optimized energy usage not only aligned with the complex's sustainability goals but also translated into significant long-term cost savings, making the investment exceptionally cost- effective.

Furthermore, by consolidating the pumping requirements into a single, high-performance unit, the space constraints that once posed a serious operational challenge were fully resolved.
