UAE dealers learn about Grundfos SCALA2 in a VIP desert experience

Organised by Grundfos in partnership with M.A.H.Y Khoory, one of the first Middle East pump sales and service companies to achieve accreditation under the Grundfos AASP (Audited Authorised Service Partner) programme, the event, on 7th December, was designed to improve knowledge and awareness of  Grundfos’ extensive domestic pump range, as well as building stronger relationships with Grundfos dealers in the UAE market.

Dealers who attended the event in Al Ain-Dubai Desert, were taken through an application training programme by Grundfos Key Account Manager, Syed Ashraf Shahzad, who focused on the challenges faced in the region’s competitive domestic consumer market, before outlining the range of solutions now available with the latest generation of technologically-advanced pumps.

The audience were particularly keen to learn more about a recent leap-forward in pump development, the new Scala2 – an intelligent ‘plug and pump’ domestic pressure booster that responds automatically to changes in discharge pressure to provide perfect water pressure in all taps at all times, even when multiple taps and showers are operating.

The undoubted highlight of the event, however, was the exciting programme of dune bashing followed by a casual discussion and workshop session on Grundfos pumps and then exhilarating entertainment followed. After games and competitions offering big prizes, guests experienced the desert sunset, with amazing displays of firebreathing and Tanura dancing, prior to a belly-dancing show.

The event proved an outstanding success, with dealers appreciating the opportunity to expand their product knowledge and network with experts from both Grundfos and M.A.H.Y Khoory, as well as other local dealers, in a relaxed but exhilarating environment.
