Using water more efficiently and more sustainably

A STORY THAT NEEDS TO BE TOLD

Intelligent solutions can help industries across the globe to treat and reuse their water in production and manufacturing, thereby minimising water consumption and reducing their environmental footprint.
It’s time to take action

#FOROURWATER

How can we manage a scarce resource?

To combat the global water crisis, we must continue to take action and treat water as a valuable resource – not as waste. It is up to us to use water more wisely. Through intelligent solutions, we can enhance the sustainability of businesses and reduce their impact on the environment. Water can be used more efficiently through reuse, wastewater can be treated before being discharged, and essential water can be saved for communities. Thankfully, many people and industries are now taking action #FOROURWATER. This is a huge step towards securing clean, safe water for both today and tomorrow.

Invisible water footprint

Most people are not aware that it takes significant amounts of water to produce goods and food. For instance, it takes 8,000 litres of water to produce a single pair of jeans.* With intelligent solutions we can reuse water in production, saving water and energy.

Water treatment can help solve water contamination

Water treatment solutions are critical for maintaining safe, clean water supplies across the globe. Currently, more than 80% of all wastewater is returned to the environment untreated*. This can lead to more contaminated water sources, risking the health of all those that use them.

“We don’t have waste, only resources...”

The manufacturing team at one of our factories in Bjerringbro, Denmark, have created an innovative closed water circuit in which water is treated, recycled and reused multiple times. It’s an example of rethinking wastewater and preserving the scarce resource that is water.
